What are You Doing This Saturday Morning?
* Are you the type of person who is out-going?
* Do you like to spend time in the fresh air…outdoors with beautiful views?
* Would you like to meet new friends?
* Or are you and your friends looking for something new to do?
* Do you like horses?
If you answered YES to just one of these questions, have we got the place to be…
The Horse Protection League (HPL) is always looking for energetic, friendly faces to join our volunteer team at
the historic Churches’ Ranch in beautiful Golden, Colorado.
Volunteer responsibilities include: cleaning pens, cleaning and filling water tanks and grooming horses,
among other projects around the Ranch. Over time, as you gain more experience with the horses, you may be
involved with moving horses and taking some on walks. For individuals with previous horse experience,
you may even have the opportunity to be evaluated to exercise some of our rideable horses.
So, if this sounds like a fun and rewarding way to spend a Wednesday or Saturday morning, please contact
Emie O’Neill at 303-216-0141, or Nancy Johnson at 303-514-0455, for more information. Otherwise, please come
out to HPL this Wednesday or Saturday morning at 9:45 AM, to fill out paperwork, attend a brief orientation,
and tour the Ranch to meet our beautiful horses and ponies. Then, let the fun begin….
We look forward to meeting you!
