Here at HPL, we think Kids Rule! In August, three groups of kids rallied on their own to raise money for HPL’s horses. Thank you to:

- Hannah, Samantha and Sydney for coming by the ranch with their donation;

- Rachel, Casey, Kate and Anna Marie for hosting a lemonade stand and garage sale;

- Reilly, Ivy, Erika, Annika and Brittany for hosting a donut stand and dog wash!

The creativity and drive of young people is amazing. The horses (and staff) really appreciate your help.

A special thank you to Tracye Ferguson and Claudia Wilson for choosing HPL as their charity for the annual Meridian Riding Club Summer’s End Horse Show. Our own Sarah Knight presented the trophy award for the winner of the $1,500 Marshall & Sterling Gilman Junior/Adult Jumper Classic. Big thanks to HPL volunteers Emie, Mac, Brie, Alyssa and Christa who helped clean up the fairgrounds parking lot. It was great to spend the day with you!

Thank you to Mile High Racing and Entertainment for choosing HPL as their charity of the day at Arapahoe Park. Big thanks to HPL volunteers Bob, Terri and Jelena for helping staff the booth and deliver our message about equine abuse.
